You can request a refund for your Steam purchase of GTA V if you haven’t launched the game yet and you’re eligible. Check Steam’s refund policy for details.

For GTA V I'm confident it's achievable. I'll check if this is viable. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_arti...-QIDX-7244 They may have provided a refund only on launch day. If it fails, it's not feasible. Additional sources: gamingbolt article and pixeldynamo news.

When purchasing games on Steam, you're accepting that you're waiving their return rules—Steam's decision. No worries, just understanding the terms.

It's quite a bold move. That sounds similar to landing a new position, entering a contract, and addressing your supervisor about a non-compete clause or something like that. You agreed to it, so handle it accordingly.

They introduced a refund feature specifically for GTA V. A notification was sent via Steam informing players that a refund is available, and the game is undergoing updates—patience may be required if you're waiting.

It’s expected you can get your money back within a certain timeframe. When you purchase the game and notice issues, you should have the option to return it. EA handles this properly.

It's not a worldwide rule, just they're offering refunds to those who purchased GTA 5

They should handle returns, as should Origin and gog.com. Your point is clear—if you have a product that won't work and need a refund, refusing it is unfair.
