This situation occurred because one of the recovery partitions was placed at the end of the disk during the installation process. It’s common in UEFI setups after an update to position these files correctly.

Technically you only require an additional EFI partition along with your primary drive. In your screenshot, the 16MB section is probably padding to ensure the main partition aligns correctly for optimal performance. The recovery partition is optional—it lets you attempt repairs if the main drive fails to boot without separate media. You can remove it if you don’t need that feature.
