Hello. Please accept my apologies for the unclear English. The issue started with my PC freezing before, usually happening during games. I encountered Kernel Power 41 errors initially. Later, it froze again and I stopped posting after that. It's been two weeks now, and I've tried all possible solutions—except for adding new RAM or CPU. I received a B550 Gaming Plus with the CPU debug lights on, but it doesn't boot. Previously, I had a B450 Gaming Plus Max; its CPU debug lights briefly before turning off normally. However, both motherboards have stopped working with my usual peripherals—they don’t light up at all. When I press the keyboard, it briefly illuminates for a few milliseconds. I've switched PSUs and keyboards, but nothing works. My phone charges fine, but my Pugio II and ROG Strix Flare don't power on. It might help to identify which component is causing the problem. The freezing occurs during gaming, especially in LoL with 200 FPS limits. The PC doesn’t start up, though fans spin and RGB lights function. CPU, SSD, and VRM temperatures are normal. With B450 Gaming Plus, the debug LEDs don’t activate, but with B550 Gaming Plus they do. When using both motherboards, my keyboard and mouse stop working; other keyboards seem fine. I’ve tried another GPU, PSU, motherboard, breadboarding, and even a buzzer, but nothing happens on either board. PC model: R5 5600X, XPG D41 (8x2), B450/B550 Gaming Plus, XFX SWFT 309 6700XT, Corsair TX 750M.
I checked another power supply unit, but it was done by someone else. I’m not sure if anything was wrong with the connection or if the PC failed to send data. Could a bad CPU be the issue? I’ve noticed it might be struggling to maintain power for short periods, which could explain the freezing. The frames are still coming out, but everything looks static. I haven’t found another RAM yet, and none of the two sticks worked. I’m thinking about buying an R3 1200, though I can’t locate one in second-hand stores.
