It's usually not required most of the time to reinstall Windows, unless you switch platforms or use different sockets like AM3 to AM4.

Thanks, yes—when I replaced the motherboard a few years back, I installed a fresh Windows setup since the drivers didn’t match the new one. Still, it’s possible the change wasn’t essential, as I could have simply removed all the drivers from the old board.
