I have SSD for C...but for my other files, I use HDD...there is some weird sound for a bit when I open folder sometime
Everything seems fine. The recommendations about an SSD won’t reduce RAM consumption. Still, it would definitely improve performance and speed. I’m currently at 35%. Just starting to write this.
Occasionally I experience about 26 GB of memory consumption on my modified server...
Memory usage during Windows operation is typical. The brief pause when accessing files from a hard drive often happens because the disk is restarting after being idle. Drives rest when not in use and then wake up when you request them, which can cause a slight delay—sometimes around one second or more. You might not always be able to adjust this setting; some systems let you tweak power options, while others have it built into the hardware itself.

There’s an unusual noise when I try to click folders on my D or E drive—it sounds like something moving quickly, possibly a fan sound. My computer slows down by about 1–2 seconds and then recovers, though this doesn’t happen every time. It might occur 1–2 times a day, and it’s not consistent.
It might be several factors at play. Probably the hard drive starts spinning as Windows powers off your extra storage devices when they aren't in use.
