Yeah, it really gets to be annoying sometimes.

FPS only mode is confirmed now and will be introduced later. If this feels annoying, give DayZ a try for over four hours to level up and land a shot at range, then share your thoughts on what bothers you.
I invested countless hours in DayZ (the old mod) and ArmA. When I began playing PUBG, I treated it much like those titles, since they share a similar vibe. However, this isn't accurate. The game feels more like an arcade experience, rewarding speed and aggression over patience and careful planning. In single-player mode, my approach focuses on targeting small settlements and moving swiftly from one edge of the circle to the next, consistently staying near treelines and defilades.
It becomes much easier once you adapt to third-person corner observation. Avoid rushing the process, or you might miss important spots where individuals are present. Watch for clues indicating prior visits, such as unloaded firearms or open doors. You’ll do just fine.
It's about how much cheese is inside something, like hiding in a bush. It's really hard to figure out the direction of the shot, especially with suppressors or flash hiders. By then it feels like you're just going to pass away.
I anticipate them adopting an MMR strategy, which means joining forces with others of comparable experience. I'm thoroughly enjoying the game, but the sooner I can distance myself from those who have been playing shooters for over a decade, the better. My current enjoyment comes from positioning myself as far away as possible, preparing to move in closer while others engage in conflict. So far, my chances of reaching the top 10 stand at 16%, and I haven't won any games yet. What bothers me is that the terrain doesn't provide much concealment, allowing skilled players to spot me easily from a distance on what seems like an open green area, while I'm hiding in dense grass.
