Hi, the HWMonitor reports your OC at 4200MHz while XTU shows 4.179MHz and the reference clock is 99.500. It seems the system is set to 42x with BCLK at 100.000 in BIOS, but XTU is displaying differently. You could try increasing the base clock by 1 (101 or 100.500) to adjust the readings.

Increasing the bclock by 3% is essentially another method of overclocking. Certain motherboard manufacturers may intentionally set the 100Mhz bclock to 102 or 103, aiming to provide their boards with an edge in performance evaluations. Some review platforms will point this out.

It's a 0.5% variation, which falls within acceptable measurement limits. Just disregard the discrepancy at most.

Thanks for the replay... I think I might be overthinking it :| The ASUS Auto OC feature boosts the multiplier and also adds 3 to the base clock, making it 103. I manually overclocked, but is there a benefit to increasing the base clock by 3%?
