XSplit Gamecaster or OBs?
XSplit Gamecaster or OBs?
Obs is excellent and free... XSplit is paid but works well, the free option isn't great... that's just my take.
Firefox, since I'm a self-centered person. (I was brought up like this, it's not my fault...)
I used xsplit initially, but later heard OBS was superior. I experimented with OBS to discover its improved stream quality. I plan to test both options without cost, deciding which offers the best performance.
The free version of Xsplit offers very limited features. The main issue is its poor audio quality. To achieve better sound, you'll need to pay for Xsplit. I haven't used it recently and mostly stuck with OBS. It may be a bit more complex than Xsplit but it's free—perfect for beginners exploring streaming tools. FFsplit is another option I've tried; it seems to work reasonably well. Since you're testing, give it a try and compare the results. Setting up a stream will require some trial and error, so experimenting with different programs is a good idea.
