Hello, it seems your XR500 might need to be replaced due to issues with Lutron HomeKit, DirecTV, and other gadgets. The Ax8 is being considered as an alternative because it's currently on sale for $100 less. Do you have any other suggestions?

I don’t have specific suggestions beyond avoiding purchases of AX/Wi-Fi 6 devices just yet. Currently available products rely on "draft" chipsets. I’d hold off until newer releases arrive, likely around 2020.
