I performed a fresh Windows install via USB and tested it twice, including on a XPS 15. It worked without any problems in the boot menu. The only times I could see or boot from it were when secure boot was disabled and the legacy ROMs option was selected. Regarding your question, using "legacy" mode might affect boot options—some settings need to be adjusted for compatibility. If you must boot as UEFI, look into enabling the necessary drivers and ensuring the correct firmware is loaded. Your RAID 5 SSD with AHCI settings doesn’t seem to interfere unless you encounter specific driver issues. Let me know if you need further guidance!

Consider creating a fresh bootable USB using the Microsoft utility. This issue seems to occur with older OS versions on the bootable drive, while newer ones work fine.

You need to turn off Secure Boot and switch to an older mode, then later revert to UEFI and reactivate Secure Boot. This will also restore BitLocker support for Windows 10. Let me know if you need more details.
