This situation has occurred recently, but nothing has changed. I recently upgraded the RAM a few months ago and was able to run it at XMP settings (3200MHz CL16) and later increased it to 3800MHz CL17. However, the system suddenly attempted a BIOS reset because of an unsuccessful overclock. I ignored it and reset the PC, then reset the settings again. After that, I disabled both CPU and RAM overclocking, booted normally, and after making minor adjustments, discovered the issue was linked to XMP mode. No BIOS changes allowed it to start without crashing or failing to POST. Currently, the RAM only supports up to 2800MHz CL16. Could this be related to the RAM, CPU memory controller, or motherboard? Is it possible to identify and fix the root cause?
