I'm experiencing stability problems when XMP is active in the BIOS settings. The only time the PC restarts is after quitting a game and switching to desktop after playing for several hours. Performance remains unaffected during gameplay, and voltage and temperature readings are normal. Turning XMP off resolves the restart issue but reduces gaming performance. I've tried adjusting the BIOS settings to keep XMP enabled while trying to avoid restarts, but this risks damaging hardware if the system shuts down unexpectedly.

Recent bios updates? Which specific RAM model is being used? Have you attempted to load XMP profiles and lower the clock speed to the previous level?

Welcome to the forums! I'm wondering if it's a C State issue. Have you tried disabling those in BIOS? Also, can you get us info on the make and model of your PSU?

I appreciate the prompt responses and assistance offered. In the meantime, I've pinpointed the reason behind these problems. For those facing similar challenges, especially after checking your RAM, GPU, and PSU, verify the condition of your SSD or other storage devices. I reviewed my SSD using GeForce Control Center, which showed thousands of hours of usage and a 0% lifespan. This led to memory corruption and forced restarts. At first, I suspected the RAM was the issue, but it turns out my new PC came with a severely degraded SSD. Luckily, I have a warranty, so I’m replacing it, though I hope others learn from this situation.

Thanks for your patience. After further investigation, the problem was due to a failing SSD.
