I aimed to boost my RAM using XMP from 2100mhz to about 3000. After enabling it and restarting, the system displayed an error: "All settings were reset to default values. Previous overclock settings failed, system restored to defaults." I was told to press F1 for setup, then F2 to load defaults and proceed. Alternatively, I could press DEL to enter BIOS or use F1/F2 right away and hit Alt+L to save the last good settings. I tried disabling XMP, reverting it back to 2100mhz, but the issue persists. I’m confused about why it doesn’t work now. My specs are an i7-6700k MSI Z170A Gaming M5 Corsair Vengeance LPX with 16GB DDR4 Sapphire Nitro+ Rx 590.

No, it's not specified if the RAM is 3000MHz.
