As Ronothan mentioned, adjust the settings yourself. If that doesn’t work, I recommend checking the RAM for problems, since it could be damaged.

The PC is around two and a half years old, and I don’t see any signs of failure.

My previous machine was a Lenovo with the simplest BIOS and no overclocking options. I didn’t know about XMP, so I installed a profile.

It's conceivable you received one of those, but adjusting the XMP settings yourself should likely resolve the issue. Generally, this is just a minor step, though precise tuning may be required here. The 3600MT/s speed appears in the box marked "DRAM Frequency" within the Advanced Mode OC menu. Move down to the Advanced DRAM Configuration option and enter the timing values (CL17-21-21) in the sequence tCL-tRCD-tRP, ensuring tRCDRD and tRCDWR match tRCD, with all other parameters set to auto. Continue scrolling until you reach the DRAM voltage setting and confirm it's at 1.35V. Press F10 to save and exit, then wait to verify proper operation.

If you input them incorrectly, you'll need to reset the CMOS. It's not a major issue and shouldn't be too hard to fix.
