Hello, XMP isn't working properly on my Corsair vengeance LPS RAM stick. Once I turn it on with XMP enabled at 3200Mhz, the memory speed drops to 2133Mhz. Even when I manually configure it with the same settings as the XMP profile, setting it to 3000Mhz still functions correctly. But if I go for 3200Mhz, it reverts back to its base clock. This behavior hasn't happened before. Please help! Also, this is the only RAM stick in my system. CPU: R5 2600X, Memory: Gigabyte AX370 gaming K5

It seems the issue lies with the memory controller in the 2600X. While many CPUs support 3200MT/s, some motherboards lacking advanced memory designs may struggle. It's best to limit performance to 3000MT/s.

It's not that significant, just increase it to 3000Mhz as suggested by @RONOTHAN

yeh, that is what im gonna do. 3000Mhz it is. It is just that i have that mentality of i paid full price for 3200Mhz, I wanna use 3200Mhz. LOL My brain brains like that. I can't help it.

If you're a dedicated user, consider reducing CL latency by 1-2. You might need to look up instructions or ask someone for help, as it could be in the BIOS settings.

MHz represents frequency, MT/s indicates data speed. DDR means double data rate, so the actual speed is twice the frequency. 3000MT/s equals 1500MHz. AMD includes a safe boot feature, ensuring proper startup if issues arise.
