Hello, your system details are listed below: Ryzen 5 3600 MSI B450M Mortar Max Patriot Viper Steel 16 GB (8x2 GB) at 3866 MHz CL 18 (PVS416G386C8K). Burner suggests Samsung B-die 20nm, K4A8G085WB-BCPB. The device won't support frequencies higher than 3200 MHz. I've used Dram Calc v1.73 with 1usmus for all values above that limit. I've also tried auto mode with specific voltages and timings, but frequencies over 3200 didn't work. The XMP profiles didn't function either. Here are the timings and frequencies:
Profile 1: 3866 MHz, 18-22-22-40-68-677/503/310 tRRD_S: 5, tRRD_L: 4, tFAW: 24 at 1.35V
Profile 2: 3733 MHz, 17-21-21-41-68-653/486/299 tRRD_S: 5, tRRD_L: 4, tFAW: 23 at 1.35V
The only stable settings I've found are the attached images (3200 CL 14). Could it be that your Ryzen 5 3600 is limited to around 1600 MHz? I'm confused about how Samsung B-die could stay below 3200 MHz.
My 3600 is operating with 3600 MB of RAM perfectly. *I just completed the BIOS update on my Asrock x570 Phantom Gaming 4 (those names are cool). With BIOS 3.1 it wouldn't start without anything except the basic slow boot. Now with 3.2 everything functions properly.* I'm wondering if your BIOS might not be compatible with the changes. I didn't run the DRAM calculator, so I'm unsure if those values make sense, but adjusting some timings could help.
