XMP and Turbo Boost together?

I have xmp turned on for my 3200 speed ram. I've heard this might lead to the processor overclocking. I'm checking if it's safe to also turn on turbo boost without damaging anything, and I'm using an asrock z270 killer sli/ac mobo.

XMP increases the memory speed, turbo mode boosts the processor speed. And yes, they can both be activated simultaneously.
