I purchased a preassembled unit a year ago and made many changes except for the motherboard. It originally came with 16GB RAM at 3200MHz. I upgraded to Corsair RAM 2x16 at 3600MHz, but it only settles at 2133MHz. I also have two 8GB 3200MHz modules that remain stuck at the same low frequency. There’s no AI tweaker or XMP setting in the BIOS to adjust voltage or anything else. Can I raise the speed to at least 3200MHz?

They don’t offer any overclocking options for a ready-made unit. Asus has secured that control. This isn’t the only desire here—someone else discovered a workaround. One possible fix is to modify the BIOS on the pre-built model using another BIOS from the same motherboard, though it’s risky and might damage your system.

I'm planning to go to Best Buy to purchase a new motherboard.
