If 3200mhz doesn't function properly, or if it does but causes crashes in Windows or certain programs, you might need to lower the frequency if you don't want further issues. I'm using a 3200mhz kit with my Thradripper 1950x for about two months now. My problems include audio distortion and occasional app crashes. Anything below 3200mhz works better for me. I'm working on solutions to improve stability, especially with memory performance.

If 3200mhz doesn't function properly, or if it does but causes crashes in Windows or certain applications, you might need to lower the frequency if you don't want further issues. I've been using a 3200mhz kit with my Thradripper 1950x for about two months, trying to achieve stability. My problems include audio distortion and occasional app crashes. Anything below 3200mhz seems to work better for me. I'm working on solutions that could help improve stability, though it's a slow process affecting memory performance.
