I recently upgraded my PC with another 2x8GB kit (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR). It matches the one I purchased last year exactly—same model, speed, timing, and voltage. However, after installation, I can't enable XMP anymore, even though I'm using the newest BIOS version. Anyone have any insights into what might be causing this issue?

I believe the XMP settings for each kit are sufficiently distinct to prevent compatibility. Therefore, you might want to manually increase the clock speed. You could also look for BIOS updates, though they likely won’t make a big difference.

Removing the two RAM sticks and capturing all XMP configurations would likely not be compatible with a 4x8GB setup. Settings can vary based on hardware specifications.

This should generally function once you tweak the settings. Adjusting frequency and timing is key. Results aren't certain—test it to confirm. Check if it boots, then consider a stress test or extended gameplay.

Sorry to hear that didn’t work. Would buying another identical kit be a better option, or should I opt for a 32GB one just in case? Appreciate your help!

Well, you could either lower the frequency or increase timings and you might end up with a stable configuration that way. There is never a guarantee that a second kit will come out of the exact same batch and therefor actually work. The safest way would be to simply buy a new 32GB kit.
