It raises the sticks to their maker's standard of 2666MHz. You'll need to adjust them to run at 3200 manually, otherwise they won't change.

XMP will adjust the settings from 2100 to 2666. That’s the only part outside of overclocking.

depends on the hardware used. some XMP profiles work well on certain devices (like Corsair Vengeance LPX C16 3200), but they often don’t run smoothly on older systems such as Ryzen 2000 or B450 chipsets. achieving even close performance usually demands a lot of adjustments. keep in mind that these numbers are just estimates—use them cautiously. I spent many hours reinstalling Windows to reach those top speeds, aiming for near-optimal performance with minimal stability.
