The schedules differ significantly. ASUS BIOS updates display DRAM timings. XMP 1 keeps some high-level settings on auto, letting the board adjust itself, while the main timings remain fixed. XMP 2 introduces additional advanced and secondary timings beyond the core settings. You can see a clear comparison of all adjustments made by each version.

OP disappeared? Is there an easy way to do this other than going through all the memory settings individually? MSI b550m mortar WiFi. Doesn't even show this much detail when exiting! Just says xmp1 > xmp2
