Yes, it's possible to access DLNA from the router without flashing an additional ROM. DLNA is already set up in the router's settings, so you should be able to use it directly. If you don’t see your USB device, check the connection and ensure the device is properly recognized.

Does it allow transferring files via USB? Not every router supports this feature. I’ll just provide a simple NAS setup for you.

File sharing is not normally done over DLNA, nor do I see any mention of this modem/router combo unit supporting DLNA in the review you linked. According to Russian reviews on the following Gearbest page, there is alternate firmware called PADAVAN you can flash to get extra features like DLNA working. https://www.gearbest.com/wireless-router...42436.html Filesharing is done by Samba, so did you activate the USB function in the app? Did you activate the Samba Server plugin via the app?

Yes, you can enable Samba without using the flashpadavan. This will let you access your USB movies directly through Kodi.

No idea, since I don’t have a router from them. The manual I found online is very limited, so your best choice is to reach out to their support or check their website for more detailed guidance. Based on the absence of any router information on their site, it’s unclear where you’d typically find such instructions. https://setuprouter.com/router/xiaomi/mi...l-2524.pdf

Sure! You can connect via SSH by using a command like `ssh username@hostname`. Make sure you have the necessary credentials and the server is reachable.

I follow the instructions in the video but run into an issue at the 16-minute mark. Could you assist me?
