Are you attempting to link to your local network or the complimentary hotspot from Xfinity? Additionally, they provide range extenders, especially in their latest gateway model.

Extenders usually require strong signals for optimal performance. A weak signal won’t give you a satisfying experience. I’m not sure if the extender will link to the Xfinity Hotspot—you might need to log in manually or use the Xfinity app on your device for automatic sign-in.
