just to make sure i don’t end up running myself crazy, i wanted to check if there’s a precise build of xenia that can handle dlc or patched xex files. i’ve got a canary and a custom build from 1.11k by alexVS. i’ve tried everything online to set everything up correctly. my goal is specifically to get gears of war 2 or 3 working with their respective TUs so the dlc functions properly. all games, updates, and dlc are attached to my account, freshly installed and ripped. i’m struggling to find clear instructions on where to place the files for the dlc/tus, let alone any patched xex support or gear-specific dlc. someone might have made a custom build due to an “unreal engine workaround,” but i couldn’t find much about that. if you could explain this to me, it would really help. i’ve downloaded nearly every editing and modification tool i need. i’ve unpacked the games so i have a default.xex file, and all the dlc is packed and unpacked ready for installation. i’m just trying to figure out the setup process.
