Does it sound like you're referring to the server? Then yes, it can take a long time to connect for me as well.
It can be slow to establish a link. Occasionally I need two or three attempts before it works. At times it connects perfectly. The servers remain somewhat unreliable even after the recent updates meant to strengthen them. I believe they weren’t prepared for such strong performance from the West.
