My Bluetooth-enabled Xbox controller functions well on my computer. After unpairing it and pressing the sync button, it does not appear in the Bluetooth lists of my iPad or iPhone. I have read that the Xbox controller lacks MFI certification, which is cited as a reason for its non-appearance; however, I have observed videos demonstrating successful synchronization of Xbox controllers with iPads and iPhones. Furthermore, I verified the controller's firmware was current via connection to my PC.

The issue stems from the controller lacking MFI certification. You have observed videos of individuals syncing Xbox controllers with iPads/iPhones. Undoubtedly, this is due to the owner of the iPad/iPhone having installed a "jailbreaking" application, which among other alterations, removes some Apple restrictions. I decline to explain how to perform this action and do not intend to discuss it on THF.

It's regrettable; MFi-certified controllers are generally of poor quality.
