You've got your Steam Machine, but the wired XBox One controllers aren't connecting. They function perfectly on your Xbox and PC. Someone should know how to fix this setup. Thanks!

Modify the steam machine. Include updates with drivers for Xbox One controllers connected through USB.

Sure, I can help with that. When you power on the Steam machine, it should refresh to the newest software version automatically. If you want to force an update manually, look for a settings menu or option related to updates and follow the prompts.

To ensure Xbox One drivers function on Linux (Steam’s base), you must manually fetch and install the required drivers from repositories. This needs super user rights and terminal access, which I doubt you have in Steam OS. Xbox 360 controllers should operate as well since the drivers are part of the Linux kernel.
