Acquired a new Xbox One and am facing growing frustration over the required micro USB connection. Is there any update or change expected regarding its compatibility?

You're unsure about your device type. If you own the wireless controller, it's wireless; if you have the wired one, it's wired. Check the product page for details.

You're likely wondering about connecting an Xbox One controller to your PC without a wired setup. There might not be a direct solution yet, but you could try using a Bluetooth adapter or a dongle if available. Alternatively, some users have switched to PS3 controllers and used Bluetooth for similar purposes.

He needed a peripheral adapter to connect his wireless Xbox 360 controller to his PC. The company charges a fee for this service, which is why it’s necessary.

You have a PS3 controller and a 360, but it seems Microsoft might come out with a wireless adapter similar to the 360. That way you could use them together.

The controller operates wirelessly on the Xbone, but replicating that setup on a PC isn't feasible. Most users find it impractical.

They haven't released a version for the 360 controller yet, but Xbox One controllers work on PC just by connecting them directly.
