I purchased this motherboard at a great discount, and the specifications mention it supports RDIMM 1Rx8 memory modules (runs in non-ECC mode). This means it can handle 8GB per channel, and it should be able to boot with RDIMMs.

ECC support is limited to Xeon processors. i7 cannot handle ECC memory, and only specific boards paired with Xeons can run registered memory. Standard unregistered modules aren't compatible.

It's more affordable for me to go with the 1650 v3 version, it should function and start, that's all I'm aiming for.

The motherboard manual is the only source that provides this information. It helps determine compatibility without needing details about your specific board. I understand not every board supports full ECC memory, but based on the list, any listed memory should work for your setup. Prices may vary by country, but the list is extensive. There might be affordable options available.

If the memory isn't in the QVL list, we can't confirm it will function. 'We'll find out only after you test it.'
