x79 build is experiencing a boot loop issue. Let me assist you.
I own a Gigabyte GA-X79-UP4 board purchased at a low price, along with an e5 2680 v2 unit. My setup includes a fresh power supply, new motherboard, verified working RAM and GPU. Despite these upgrades, the system keeps restarting and no video appears—just fans spinning on and off repeatedly. I've experimented with various RAM types, slower RAM, two different GPUs, adjusted CMOS settings, and reinstalled the CPU cooler. Any suggestions for next steps? Help would be greatly appreciated!

I removed the CPU and discovered something. Visually it doesn’t seem bent, but there’s a clear dark area that stands out more than in photos. What should I do next?
If your motherboard uses BIOS version F4, it won't boot with the Xeon E5 2680 v2. When BIOS is F7, it will boot correctly. I recommend searching for the most affordable Core i7 compatible with that platform and checking if it fits your board. Honestly, the appearance seems like a standard LGA 2011 connector, but there could be display or vision issues.
