I wanted to make a Home Theatre PC.
I collected all the parts, so I decided to take out my old motherboard&RAM&CPU out of the box, and assemble the PC.
They were put away in the box IN WORKING CONDITION, I upgraded to Ryzen in January 2023, and they all worked before the upgrade.
Motherboard in question is ASUS P6T6 WS Revolution. CPU is Xeon X5650. RAM is a frankenstein config, but it worked. All of them are 1333Mhz CL9.
Now, it doesn't seem to work. Yes I did all the basic things, here is a list of what I did;
Reseat connectors
Reseat RAM
Reseat CPU
Reseat GPU
Reseat CMOS
New CMOS
CLRTC jumper
Different RAM
Different PSU
Different CPU
No GPU
No SSD
Barebones (Only 24pin and CPU 8pin plugged in, power on with screwdriver)
No RAM (Gives code 37 and a couple of beeps; long>short>short)
The only thing it does, is cycle through a bunch of QCodes;
Fat slots (A) give this; 00, E8, 62 (or B2), 01
Thin slots (B) give this; 01, 68 (or B8), 02, EA
6th (last) slot gives; 04, EA, 01, 68 (or B8)
Also, with RAM in the PC, the speaker makes a "click" sound when turned on.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it's important to provide detailed information about your system. List your specifications clearly, such as: CPU, CPU cooler, motherboard, RAM, SSD/HDD, GPU, power supply, chassis, operating system, monitor. Include the age of the power supply in addition to its make and model. The RAM setup is a bit unusual, but it functions. All components are 1333Mhz CL9. Expand on this.

They chose to try again.
After giving up on it completely, I threw in the towel and smashed the case on the table.
The next day, I gave it one final shot, and it started running Windows.
Probably my frustration helped get it working again.
