x570D.O.C.P issue with Asus Tuf X570 Gaming Plus Wi-Fi
Hey everyone. Just a few days ago I assembled my first PC. Everything went smoothly except for the RAM XMP setting or what Asus calls D.O.C.P. I have two 8GB Ballistix Elite sticks, which function at 2600Mhz on the stock configuration. No matter what adjustments I made, the system couldn't boot with the required D.O.C.P. My BIOS is version 1405, which is the newest release. I'm really let down because I was expecting those high-speed RAMs to greatly improve performance.
I didn't have time to configure all the settings, but I attempted to adjust the timings and clock speeds by hand. It didn't work.
I reside in another nation, and sending the item back to the USA would be extremely difficult.
You asked about the timing settings and suggested a more relaxed schedule like 20-22-22-22-46.
They seemed around 16-16-17-18-38. I’m not able to finish right now, but I’ll focus on it this weekend.
It fits better than typical ratings (16-19-19-39), which explains why it isn’t working. Try checking the CMOS settings and see if DOCP appears. By the way, DOCP stands for AMD’s XMP profile.
