X570 UD 3600x allows adjusting RAM speeds.
Updated my PC using these parts from Black Friday: https://www.newegg.ca/p/N82E16813145168 and others. I noticed the RAM speed isn’t adjusting properly. CPU-Z, WMI memory chip, and Ryzen Master all display the RAM as 2133. I changed the BIOS to XMP in the bios settings, tried manual adjustments, and even set it to 3200, but it still stays at 2133. I went to a family member who built a similar PC with the same RAM and BIOS, and he used XMP without issues. I updated to the latest BIOS (F11) because previous updates reset settings. I contacted Gigabyte for advice, but they didn’t provide guidance. I’m considering reverting to F10 BIOS to check if the problem lies there. Photos show Ryzen Master, CPUZ, and the BIOS showing XMP settings, but quality is poor. No error messages appear in the OS, yet software won’t load properly.
updates seem to have fixed the issue with 3200 working now, unlike the previous attempt. Other settings also helped. With more adjustments, you can reach 3600, but first enable XMP to set the speed to 3600. Then gradually lower speeds to 3200, 3333, 3460, then restart and edit the BIOS in stages. Starting directly at 3600 won't work; the BIOS will display 3600 in settings, but the RAM frequency info will show 2133 and run at that speed. If you push beyond 3600 to 3666, the BIOS resets and you'll need to reconfigure the RAM.
