I just purchased an x570 tomahawk with a CPU (5950X) as part of a bundle. I'm curious if there will be any impact from using a crosshair VIII model. I can sell the tomahawk, but I don’t want to throw it away unnecessarily.

No significant variation between VRM and performance. The main distinction could lie in the ports available. If the Tomahawk meets your requirements, consider keeping it as is.
