Using my ASUS X570 Dark Hero from ASUS has been smooth so far—no major issues reported. I've been running it for over two years now and the BIOS updates have been solid. I chose this X570 board because it came with a passive chipset heatsink, which was a good fit compared to other options like the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Extreme that I didn’t want after their past problems with PSU failures. This was before the X570S line, which features passive heatsinks by design, unlike ASUS or Gigabyte’s X570 MB models.
I recently got a Dark Hero after losing my Strix B550-XE. This board and the Dark Hero are definitely capable of pushing a 5950X to its limits.
