Since you’re weighing aesthetics against future-proofing, I’d suggest the B550 if you prioritize style and value, or the X570 if you value performance and longevity.
It's a shame we're dealing with AM5 CPUs and LGA sockets now. Since upgrades might not come for a while, it probably won't be a big deal. Do you have any solid advice on what to do, even though support for these parts is winding down?
Sure. To be truthful, I don’t really feel the urge to move up from AM4 for a while after this. Even if I plan to upgrade later, the 5800x, 5900x, or 5950x will remain popular for a long time.
Invest in it to see results. The B450 isn't functioning as expected.
