X570 or B550
X570 or B550
Today I purchased a resell PC and noticed it came with a nice B550 board—specifically the Asus Strix B550-F. I currently have a low-end X570 and a Gigabyte X570 Gaming XMotherboard. I’m thinking about swapping the B550 for an X570 in another machine to resell. The main reason is that the X570 feels more powerful than my current setup, offers better power delivery, and has a lot of USB ports which I find useful. It also has many extra fan headers instead of splitters. I’m also curious if it can support two GPUs, not SLI, like 3070+2060. Any advice or tips would be really helpful!
Additionally, you have two 2.2-inch drives and two GPUs ready. I’m confident it won’t cause any issues.
It looks like you're considering upgrading to the B550 for better performance and are comparing it to your current setup. Your friend's experience with pairing a 1060 with a 2060 shows strong results, but you're facing similar challenges with your X570. Keep in mind the differences in GPU configurations and mining setups.
