The top-end motherboard compatible with X570 and custom watercooling is the Asrock X570 Aqua, featuring integrated CPU and VRM cooling. It comes at a price of $999.99 USD. While many premium boards suffice, the motherboard itself doesn't heavily influence watercooling performance—this depends more on socket type and chosen cooling hardware. For the 3950x, any well-reviewed X570 with solid VRMs will work well. The Gigabyte Aorus boards are excellent, and I successfully used the X570 Aorus Pro Wi-Fi in a 3950x workstation setup without any problems.
