Hello. By the end of 2019 I completed this computer build. It’s an X570 Master with a 3950x and Noctuas Air Fans and Cooling. I’m curious if anyone could provide better guidance on connecting the CPU cooler fans properly. I’m unsure about the distinction between System Fan headers and System Fan Pump headers. In the motherboard manual they seem to be the same. All four pin configurations have identical output definitions. Oh! I’ve installed the temperature sensors and the noise sensor, but I still have questions about their placement inside the case. Could anyone help? There are two pictures available: 1º - "El Machina" showing the connector indicators and air system, and 2º - X570 Aorus Master layout with red circles indicating the fan positions.

From the fans' perspective, the choice of header isn't crucial. I typically connect my cooler using the CPU fan and then use any convenient header for the rest of the fans. I haven't needed to install additional temperature sensors, so I don’t have a clear idea about the optimal setup.

Your aim is to use the sensors effectively. Have you thought about adding a hub or splitter? It’s really useful when you need multiple devices running at the same speed.
