Make sure your RAM is placed correctly. For two sticks, position them at spots 2 and 4. If you have an M.2, ensure the first two slots are free.

You tried an RTC RAM reset followed by a BIOS update, and it appears to be resolving the issue. A hope remains for the next BIOS patch to provide a permanent fix.

I understand I'm a bit behind on the event, but I wanted to thank you for the details. My 3-day-old device restarted during a Windows update and displayed a black screen with a red CPU indicator. I initially considered replacing it, but a BIOS reboot after removing the battery resolved the issue!
