I’m planning to assemble a new PC soon and most of the details are settled. I’m stuck on choosing a motherboard. I’m weighing the ASUS ROG Strix X570-E Gaming against the MSI MEG x570 ACE. Both have solid reviews and similar price ranges. I’m looking for insights from anyone with more experience to help me decide. I’ve attached the links for both boards.

Have you noticed the motherboard tier list? In a nutshell, both options are quite high for most setups, the ACE is a bit more extreme. So technically, it comes down to personal preference. Unless you really need the LN2 overclocking section, go with the one that looks better.

Both boards perform well overall. In my experience, Asus' BIOS and the related fan control software seem slightly superior after testing both.

The Ace has an issue where MSI only installs four SATA ports... This might look minor, but given the rest of their products are quite alike, it stands out as a noticeable problem for someone who pays close attention to board details.
