x570 asus crosshair viii hero for very good price , shall i take it ?
hello everyone. I found an x570 asus crosshair viii hero at a great price—about half of the normal cost in my country. it includes warranty, which is nice. the main concern is whether i should keep it. i currently have a ryzen 3600 with 240m water cooling and plan to upgrade to a ryzen 4. for my needs, do i really need this? i think a b450 would be sufficient for what i do.
The strix board meets my expectations. Unless you require the huge storage needs and PCIe Gen 4 along with the 2.5GB LAN, it doesn’t add value. The B450 model likely handles future third-generation requirements.
Zen 3 should probably be the final model for Socket AM4, making it hard to upgrade beyond the B450 or X570 at this point. The B450 will still serve its purpose well into the AM4 era, and AMD had committed to supporting AM4 up until 2020, which the third generation would honor.
You're not seeing any benefit from purchasing this MoBo. Your PC won't run faster on the X570 unless you require additional PCIe lanes. Save your money and consider an alternative.
