I replaced my motherboard with a x570 Aorus Elite Wi-Fi model. Since then, I've experienced frequent audio glitches, often every few seconds, and some games become significantly harder to play (Escape From Tarkov is unplayable). I've tried updating or reinstalling all audio and GPU drivers I could find, but nothing helped. I've also experimented with different BIOS versions and RAM speeds. The only suggestion left is testing various RAM modules to see if performance improves. Someone please assist with my build: Ryzen 5 2600X, Radeon 5700X, Red Devil X570 Aorus Elite Wi-Fi, Patriot Viper 16GB, 3200MHz RAM. I also noticed frame rates spiking in Valorant and possible microstutter issues. Edited May 30, 2020 by ThePostShow

You connect your sound equipment to the main 3.5mm audio port or your internal audio output located at the rear.

I should have noted that I own a USB headset (HyperX Cloud Flights) and have tested all available USB ports.

I've tested various BIOS updates and refreshed all audio drivers from the Gigabyte site.

It's highly improbable, but attempting to reset the CMOS might help.

No, I haven't reinstalled Windows since the motherboard upgrade.

I missed the detail about your USB headset. I’d really think about switching to something else—maybe even cheap in-ear options just connected directly. Let’s see if it works the same.

so now ive tested a handful of output devices from USB, earpods, usb speakers, 3.5mm headset and have come to the conclusion while watching videos its not just an audio stutter, but a complete system stutter. gaming and watching videos there is a noticeable pause and blur accompanied by an audio chop.. hmmm
