Hello First of quick backstory: Bought the Tomahawk b450, but returned it after I couldn't get my memory to it's normal speeds and issues with audio. So I bought the x570 Aorus Elite, thinking this one would be good enough. But I can't even get 3200mhz on 16/18/18 1.35V and when I try to change it. It reboots to default (2166mhz cl15) RAM: 32 GB Corsair LPX 3200mhz CL16 1.35v I thought I could maybe OC this kit to 3600 mhz for the ryzen sweetspot, but I can't get higher than 2900mhz.. Anyone have any suggestions on what i should do? PS: - I have the latest bios - Ryzen 3700x cpu

Adjust the RAM speed manually. X.M.P may not always function correctly, so don't rely on it for optimal performance. Enter BIOS, switch to manual mode, and configure the DRAM frequency to 3200Mhz. Please let us know the outcome... good luck!

You experimented with 3200 MHz but it caused an immediate BIOS reset. At different voltages (1.4V, 16/17/18/39), the frequency varied: 3066, 3100, 2926, and 1.35V led to reboots. The memory label shows 3200 MHz at 16/18/18 and 1.35V. Hope this helps!

Your setup seems quite selective. You might consider using software to update the BIOS. Try flashing the BIOS on the motherboard—it could resolve the issue. If you're not comfortable doing that, just let us know and we'll guide you through the process. Most motherboards have a button on the back labeled BIOS flash; insert a USB drive and use it. Alternatively, you can access the BIOS settings and perform the flash yourself. I've noticed some users achieve stable 3200Mhz RAM speeds after using BIOS Flash.

I refreshed the system to the newest BIOS during my first PC setup. Or does updating the BIOS involve a different process?

Also remember this! Updating the BIOS isn't as simple as just grabbing the newest version from Gigabyte. It usually requires several flashes, and you can't just switch to the latest one without following the proper steps. I’m sure the x470 model needs a specific update. Share your ideas on this!

My motherboard has 3 BIOS versions. F4j - 2019-08-02 F4g - 2019-07-12 F3 - 2019-06-13 I'm flashed it to F4j. Should I revert it to F4j or do something else?

It holds a lot of memory, so it shouldn’t be surprising it won’t sync to XMP. 1.4 volts should give you a decent clock speed. What happens with slower timing for the CL18 and higher voltage at 1.45 and 3600MHz?

The frequency is often around 3200 MHz, not 3600 MHz.
