An update to Windows 10 caused it to fail to boot, and even reinstalling Windows didn't resolve the problem. The Auto Repair tool also didn't work. You mentioned you bought the processor specifically for overclocking, but the default settings aren't working.

unstable overclocking as well, when adjusting via BCLK, ensure you reduce PCIE and other settings properly unless your motherboard includes a "strap" feature (which I believe gigabyte H55 boards lack). If you have access to Windows, disable "fast startup" in the power options.
