Hello everyone, I've been using "X299 TUF mark 1" for nearly a year and a half. The time from turning on the power button until the first screen appears is roughly 15 seconds. My concern is whether this is typical, since it was about 8 seconds in the past after several BIOS updates didn't help. I also removed the hard drive and all components, but the timing remains unchanged.

Thanks for your response. I understood the message. Although I removed the hard drive to test the time, I came across a YouTube video showing someone with a similar setup. Their boot time was extremely slow—about 2 minutes to reach the first screen—and they upgraded to an NVME M.2 drive, which reduced the time from power button to desktop to just 3 seconds. Is this genuine or is it exaggerated? Also, if I upgrade my hard drive, can I achieve a similar speed? I didn’t mention that earlier, but sometimes boot times can be as long as 5 minutes from power on. I also tried installing Linux and experienced installation times of around 1 to 2 minutes for both Windows and Linux.
I need to understand what you're referring to by "time to first screen." Are you talking about the boot screen after power-on? Or are you asking about how long it takes to see the Windows logo? In your list, there doesn't appear to be a SSD mentioned. If you install an SSD and run Windows on it, it can significantly improve the loading time of the operating system.

Unless there are windows and just windows, it's probably fake. You'll see a big boost in overall system performance.

Hardware setup at that stage remains uncertain, possibly involving RAM calibration and other device functions. You might review the BIOS and turn off unused hardware features to test improvements. This adjustment may not require many changes, as Windows now uses Fast Start for a smoother hibernation process. The system preserves OS state but not user settings, which can contribute to quicker boot times.
