Hello, I'm looking for information on X11 Forwarding. I've been attempting to set it up for a week now and keep encountering the same error (picture attached). Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, wamred

Your images don’t indicate the command for connecting to the server; you must inform the client about using X11-forwarding. The pictures only show that the server has enabled the feature for clients to request it, not that every client will automatically do so.

Log in using ssh -X <host> or set up an alias in /etc/ssh/config for long-term use. [Edit] only when necessary to modify system-wide settings, otherwise adjust ~/.ssh/config for personal access.

Prefer configuring ~/.ssh/config for individual user preferences over global settings.

Thank you for your message. I was running ssh -Y for better visibility. I’m renting this from Linode and using the default root account. (I understand I should create a dedicated user account.)
