Digital launch of X-Wing and Tie Fighter is coming soon on GoG. Now I can enjoy my adult years just like I did as a kid.
I can give a brief overview of this experience. This (along with the X-Wing) marked our first opportunity as fans of the SW series to enjoy a powerful fantasy game, aiming to be a top space pilot. The TIE Fighter offers more than just the X-Wing, providing the ability to support the Empire in ways previously overlooked. Combined with strong mechanics, engaging gameplay, and solid voice acting, plus impressive graphics at the time, it became a hit. I’m not certain if others would enjoy it, but if you like joysticks, flying games, space adventures, or Star Wars, you might find it appealing. I still play it two decades after its release and occasionally revisit it.
