WTF IS THIS MESSAGE I GET ON STEAM BY EVERYONE RL?
Recently two of my friends shared some confusing information. I’m copying their messages for reference. Thanks to everyone in Rocket League Expert for participating in our Mainframe Giveaway. The contest has ended—there’s one winner, and his name is (your nickname). You can find him here: https://rocket-expert.com (in the Results tab). My second friend entered me into a giveaway too, and I won! Lol, you can check my results here: https://rl-trader.com/results. It seems like these two people are different, and it’s been happening recently. This is really frustrating, especially since I’m getting all these messages. One person claimed they were hacked, but if that’s true, maybe the person who sent me the message is playing Rocket League. I still don’t understand why I keep receiving these notifications.
It's frustrating because these platforms require you to log in, not just connect. You usually link Steam to a site for info like Rocket League trades, but they can't usually retrieve your password. Unless it's a fake login page, which would mean someone has your password—though you changed it just once, swapping one letter for another. Wouldn't I have had a Steam Guard email since I always get them, even on my phone and PC? Nothing’s happened yet.
Sure, I can help with that.
He asked if the password wasn’t working.
